Client : Southern skies dermatology, USA
Challenge : The client, a network of regional hospitals, want to improve his current patient health records management system specifically patient onboarding system.
Solution
Our development team provided a comprehensive solution to optimize the process of onboarding patient health records, ensuring accuracy, security, optimal performance and seamless accessibility.
Key Features Implemented
- OCR processing: Modified current OCR processing and improved its accuracy of identifing lables from scanned patient images.
- Auto order assignement: Ordered images based on dates shown under scanned images.
- Improved UI and funcational aspects: Implemented Image UI filters which worked based on extracted arrtibutes of the image including filter by patient.
- Performance optimization: The platform was using SQLlite database with performance issues while trying to access large set of patient images and data.we identified root cause and replaced this with a noSQL DB for enhanced performance.
